Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we have the Kuat Piston SR Roof-Mounted Bike Rack. We're gonna take a look at how this bike rack fits our 2022 Ford Edge. So if you need to carry around your bikes, and maybe you don't have a hitch receiver yet or cannot get one, then the next best option is to get a roof-mounted bike rack. So if you already have a roof rack, you can put this onto your roof rack, it works with most rack systems, and then it has a unique dual wheel mounted design that makes it technically easier to carry around a bike on your roof. We're gonna talk about that, but we're also gonna focus on our Ford Edge here today. We'll talk about things like how high you have to reach to get to your bike, what types of bikes this can carry, and why you might consider this as an option. more

Instead, we have a skewer at the front here which grips the bike by it's port mounts and then at the rear we have this strap in the back. Now with the bike on there, I'm going to go ahead and open up the rear hatch. This is just to illustrate you're not going to have any clearance issues between the hatch itself and the bike rack.
